My day started so well, and plummeted so fast. Some of the pots got done last night...but the ones not done where just moved. They were also the pots needed to cook today's Lasagne's (which are not going to happen now!). Then my daughter was naughty and we spent almost 2 hours in the battle of wills, as she refused to say ,"Sorry". In the end she flaked out without apologising and without lunch. In turn I then became racked with guilt! This was the first time I had tried the naughty step technique, and I can see why so many give up with it! Also I cant get down to my child's level and I cant pick her up to mine. For that vital eye to eye contact. Both our eyes are now sore and I'm sure we're now both feeling really rotten. I know I am.
Today is not a good day!
